| 説明 | Native, warm-season, perennial, erect, tufted C4 grass; to 1.5 m tall and with hairy nodes. Ligules are a short truncate rim of hairs; long hairs occur on either side. Flowerheads are purplish open panicles (10-20 cm long) of short racemes on slender branches; emits a scent when crushed. The racemes have 3-8 pairs of dissimilar paired spikelets (terminal spikelets in triplets); the lower stalkless, awned, fertile and 2-flowered and the upper stalked, unawned, sterile or male and 1-flowered. Flowers from spring to autumn. Found in ungrazed-lightly grazed and lower fertility areas, especially along roadsides and in native/naturalised pastures and woodlands. |
