| 説明 | This was built in the 11th century by an Indian tribe, now called Sinagua (Sin agua = without water, in Spanish). What's interesting is that the exhibition showed what was hapening in the rest of the world at that time: the Egyptian pyramids had long been built, Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris was completed in the 12th Century, Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel a little later... Not very PC for a National Monument, but refreshing. |
