| 説明 | I saw a few black spots on the bare rock face as we crossed a particularly narrow stretch in the fjords. Closer examination showed that the 'black dots' were actually cormorants roosting on the rock face. Cormorants are fishing birds that need to dry themselves every now and then as their feathers are not water proof. I could not get a closer shot as I was using a very basic camera with 3x zoom. (Musandam, Oman, Mar. 2005) (Poor quality as this was my first tryst with digital, due to which I was shooting at a measly 1mpxl resolution) |
