説明 | This is the National Archeological Museum of Naples. It was our first stop of the day in Naples. The Naples National Archaeological Museum (Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli) is a museum in Naples, southern Italy, at the northwest corner of the original Greek wall of the city of Neapolis. The museum contains a large collection of Roman artifacts from Pompeii, Stabiae and Herculaneum. The collection includes works of the highest quality produced in Greek, Roman and Renaissance times. It is the most important Italian archaeological museum.Charles III of Spain founded the museum in the 1750s. The building he used for it had been erected as a cavalry barracks and during its time as the seat of the University of Naples (from 1616 to 1777) was extended, in the late 18th century.Museo Archeologico Nazionale di NapoliFirst floor in the museum.A vase - took this for my mom.Blue VaseThe first century A.D.And a cameo glass double layer: a dark blue serves as the bottom, the other opaque white in which they are intagilate the figures. The scene and the Dionysiac: onhoof animals grazing in the field of Bacchic masks large swirls of vines rose fourfold in the central backdrop for erotic harvesters. Was found at Pompeii in a context perhaps 29.12.1837funeral, relevant to the suburban villa known as the "columnsmosaic" on its actual destination since serious doubts arosethe times are very close to the date of discovery. |
