| 説明 | SILER CITY, N.C. – Civic leaders, proud moms and dads, other family and friends gathered to honor the Soldiers of the North Carolina National Guard's (NCNG) 112th Financial Management Detachment at their deployment ceremony here at the unit’s armory July 14.“Thank you for supporting our state and nation, Godspeed and God bless,” said Army Brig. Gen. Beth Austin, NCNG assistant adjutant general for sustainment to the 14 Soldiers assembled at the ceremony.After additional training at Camp Atterbury, Ind., the Solders will deploy as part of Operation Joint Guardian, a peacekeeping mission providing a safe and secure environment in Kosovo.“We have trained for over a year for this mission,” said Army 1st Lt. Rodney Daniels, 112th detachment commander. He challenged his Soldiers to complete the mission overseas and “stay focused,” The Soldiers of the detachment deploying for the Kosovo mission are financial management technicians who provide finance support for all military and Department of Defense civilians in theater. Missions include paying Soldiers, other military personnel and civilian employees and contractors, budgeting, disbursing and accounting for government funds. They assist units in paying local vendors for goods and services.
