| 説明 | Day 82 / 365Continuing from last time, here's yet another lens!This is Nikon's Nikkor 50mm 1.8D prime lens, otherwise known as the "Nifty Fifty". No, it's not quite the newer Nikkor 50mm 1.8G, which is arguably a bit better (optically), but I still love the 1.8D because it's smaller and a bit lighter than the 1.8G.This lens is my very first prime, or fixed focal length at 50mm, lens I own and I use it primarily for beautiful portrait shots. I find that whenever I use this lens, I'm typically more satisfied with the results compared to the other lenses I use for taking portraits.I usually do not shoot with this lens wide open at f/1.8, but I find that one can get the best results from this lens by stepping it down to f/2.2.Hooray for wall of text!
