| 説明 | This was taken at Orchard Beach in the Bronx. Mom was staring into the Atlantic after we put a bit of my Aunt's ashes in the water. I had flown in for a few days to attend the funeral, etc. She lived to be 92 years old and had the energy and spirit of a 21 year old right until she passed. Was a pretty tough time for mom since my Aunt (who really isn't my aunt; long story) practically raised my mom. I was lucky that a friend who was traveling a ton for work had an insane excess of frequent flyer miles that he hooked me up with for the free trip, otherwise I'm sure the short notice flight, would've cost a ton. |
