| 説明 | A photo stop for the Cenre Abbas Giant.Near the village of Cerne Abbas.It might date to the 2nd century AD, or 1,500 years ago. Or even Oliver Cromwell's time! (I dought that one).The Cerne Giant is nearly 60 metres high and 51 metres wide. It is one of three ancient figures cut into English chalk downlands.It is a Scheduled Ancient Monument.It was given to the National Trust in 1920 to ensure it's permenant protection.The hill is called Giant Hill. |
