| 説明 | The Figgy's Patterns' Banyan pant pattern has a genius little three-part waistband construction. I go ahead and cut all pieces a little long, then trim them to proper length as I go. Here you see the waistband extending quite a bit past the fly extension (or fly guard, or "wiener protection" as my son calls it).This photo is part of a tutorial on how to adjust fit for children slimmer and/or taller than the fit model. The tutorial is for Figgy's Patterns' Banyan pant pattern, but the principles will work well for any flat or pleated front, back-elastic pattern. |
