| 説明 | I should think this is a uniquely named pub and as can be seen in the pub sign above the entrance the "alls" are: The Soldier who will fight for all, the Bishop who will pray for all, the Monarch who rules for all, the lawyer who pleads for all, and, I love this one, John Bull representing the all-suffering joe-public, who pays for all. The pub is at the bottom of Hocker Hill Street with many fine old town houses along its narrow cobbled street leading up to the town center. I'm off in the opposite direction, round the corner to see Ceptsow's famous castle, which claims to have been the first stone-built castle in England. |
