| 説明 | A cross from the Sons of the British Empire that has been inscribed by an Australian schoolchild from Tasmania with the name of one of Australia's fallen laid on the grave of an unknown Australian solider at Buttes New British Cemetery. At the conclusion of the dawn service on Anzac Day 2012 in Belgium, members of the congregation were invited to lay a cross on the grave of an Australian soldier by Australian Ambassador Brendan Nelson. Nelson, a former Defence Minister, is also patron of the Sons of the British Empire. |
