| 説明 | Michael McFadden of Austin, Texas, calls commands to load and fire rifled muskets during a Civil War weaponry demonstration at the Texas Military Forces Open House at Camp Mabry, Austin, Texas, April 21-22, 2012. McFadden explained that experienced Civil War soldiers could load and fire three to five aimed shots during combat. Each shot required the soldier to tear a packet of gun powder, pour the powder down the muzzle followed by a bullet, use to ramrod to pack it in, replace the firing cap, cock the hammer and pull the trigger.
