| 説明 | 11> Wednesday night 2nd of May 2007 - Sibenik.Sibenik was obviously a less touristic place. Here there were no crowds of ladies offering a chamber, but just some students hanging around at the bus station. We could not find a tourist office as well, so therefore we tried to walk towards the youth hostel. That was not as simple as we thought. Firstly, we had to make a heavy climbing walk through steep narraw streets. Then we could not find the tunnel under the main road and we ended up in the area of the university. Groups of students walked excited down the hill towards the city centre to dive into the bars. Eventually we decided to return and folllow those students to to the centre, in the hope what we would find. something there. Luckilly, there was nevertheless a tourist office along the Riva which was even still open. And they could arrange a room for sleeping for us as well. The owner of the pension came to pick us up by foot. So we had to walk all the way up the hill again. The pension was located entirely on top of the slope of the city and could be reached by a long stairway. Meanwhile we had been starved because we did not have a proper lunch. So we went down the hill again to the city centre, to eat on the Riva and to enjoy the view. Whereas Eva had to be in bed already, we made an evening walk through the beautiful old city. We seemed be the only people whowere exploring the quiet and nicely enlighted old streets. |
