| 説明 | On a snowy April morning, decided to walk around Edgbaston near Five Ways.Looking for another blue plaque in Edgbaston. Now on the railway bridge / canal bridge on St James Road. Was wondering where in Edgbaston that you could take a shot of the Cross City line. The bridge was quite high, so couldn't see what I was taking.Although managed to get Five Ways Station and the old wall with arches on the left. The bridge was built in 1851.W Thomas and R Parry - Surveyors of Edgbaston. On the 636 bus route.BT Tower straight ahead.Don't think there is any access to the canal from Edgbaston (probably due to the land owners who were against the canal in the late 18th century)St James Road Bridge is bridge no. 85 on the canal. |
