| 説明 | Svitzer Nari, a new arrival on the River Mersey, heads away from Eastham after assisting a gas tanker into Eastham Lock. She was built as Stevn's Battler and is one of seven identical tugs built in Halifax, Canada by Irving Shipbuilding in 2010 for Nordane Shipping of Denmark. Two of these are now bareboat chartered from Nordane by Svitzer Towage and working in the UK - Svitzer Nari on the Mersey, and Svitzer Hutton (formerly Svitzer Nabi) on the River Tees.They are Azimiuthing Stern Drive tugs with a bollard pull of 72 tonnes and are built to a design by Robert Allan Ltd, also of Canada. Many of the worlds current tug fleets include vessels built to a Robert Allan design, in particular, Kotug's SD series, which were built in Turkey and those of Keppel Smit Towage in Singapore. |
