| 説明 | From the scrapbook of an early visitor, visitors pose at the "Camp of the Clouds" at Paradise. Campgrounds no longer exist at Paradise because of the heavy snows and long winters. Some years, the snow kept campgrounds from opening until August. Today''s campgrounds, like Cougar Rock, are located at lower elevations where the snow melts faster and slightly warmer temperatures prevail.NPS Photo. |
