| 説明 | A view from the quai along the east side of the harbor in Gustavia, St. Barthélemy. The boat landing, where the ship's tenders loaded, is the pavilion in the laft background. Fort Gustav, a Swedish fort, is at the top of the hills, with a more recent lighthouse. This is how a tropical paradise is supposed to look. St. Barthélemy is part of France, though it is an overseas territory. A sign along the quai says that its restoration came from grants from the European Union, France, and the French Senate. The island is often called St. Barth in French and St. Bart's in English. |
