| 説明 | I didn't take many interior shots of this building primarily because I was diverted by a friend getting married, and my taking photographs of that!But, this was my first time inside the building since it had been refurbished and converted as the Lothian Chambers Registrar's Office. I remain disappointed that they named it after it's second use: it was originally built as the Midlothian County Buildings, was relatively briefly the Lothian Region Chambers, and latterly used as one of the temporary buildings of the reconvened Scottish Parliament. Regardless, it is rather splendid in its Edwardian Palladian opulence, and superb in its new guise. |
