| 説明 | Thailand had recently acquired a few new diesels from General Electric, of which this is one. It had just arrived at Hua Lamphong station. It was nice to stand next to it, hearing the grr grr grr grr growl from the engine. Unlike India, the officials did not appear to be skittish or paranoid about photography. A security guard there readily allowed me to take pictures when I asked her if I could. Locomotive class: CM22-7i, built by General Electric, year put on line: 1995-96, road numbers: 4523- 4560, power: 2500 hp, max speed: 100 kmph. (Bangkok, Thailand, Oct. 2008) |
