| 説明 | 120227-Z-PP889-001California Army National Guard Soldiers from the 149th Chemical Company break down equipment in a decontamination tent Feb. 27 during the crawl phase of the External Evaluation of the 49th Military Police Brigade’s Homeland Response Force (HRF) in Camp Roberts, Calif. The 149th is crawling at this point in preparation for testing their capabilities full-speed later this week as part of the HRF’s streamlined response to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and high-yield explosive (CBRNE) incidences. The notional scenario involves a tractor-trailer crashing into a building in downtown San Francisco and another exploding nearby, releasing a harmful vapor cloud. At that same moment, a separate unknown chemical was released inside a theatre where more than 12,000 people were attending a sold-out concert. During evacuation, a cargo truck exploded. Hours later, an illegal chemical manufacturing plant was discovered in the Presidio and suspected of involvement in the attacks. (Army National Guard photo/Spc. Grant Larson) |
