| 説明 | At the junction of the central avenue with the road that leads to the west gate there stood a polygonal building, with an area of about 1400 m². Square on the outside, the building is organised around a twelve-sided courtyard enclosed by a colonnade giving access to the other rooms. The entrance is on the south side, through a rectangular antechamber with arches in the side walls; the 3rd-century mosaic depicted wrestlers at practice. On the north side was a chamber with a stone floor and a marble table, with a pair of semicircular exedrae opening to the east and west. Between these main chambers are four pairs of small, quadrilateral, ancillary rooms. |
