| 説明 | The Glenwood Springs Fire Department is located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The city is located approximately 160 miles west of Denver and is known for its natural hot springs, a huge year round hot springs pool, skiing, and snowboarding. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains along the I-70 corridor on the beautiful Colorado River, Glenwood Springs is a rapidly growing resort community with a population of about 8,500 full time residents. The GSFD serves these 8,500 residents, as well as the 13,000 residents of the Fire District, and several thousand tourists and part-time residents annually within a 72-square mile area. GSFD currently consists of 21 career Firefighter/EMT's and Paramedics, the Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, and Administrative Assistant, and is supported by 18 part-time reserve staff and three volunteers. The GSFD operates out of 3 stations with 17 pieces of apparatus. |
