| 説明 | There are no pipes available to buy here, which are essential for providing water. We managed to find this one at an abandoned old site that was no longer being used. The pipe then had to be carried through swamps and fields to get to the river. We could never have managed this ourselves, so thankfully the local community joined in and helped us carry it. At the end of the day it's their water, but it was great that we didn't even have to ask them - they just did it.Photo: Tracy Wise/Oxfam |
