| 説明 | Maj. Gen. Kenneth S. Dowd, commanding general, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, paid a visit to the AFSBn-Bagram, 401st AFSB RPAT yard Mar. 19. Dowd presented his coin to Sgt 1st Class Brent D. Wipperman, RPAT OIC, in recognition of his efforts working in RPAT yards in Iraq, Kuwait and now Afghanistan. Dowd also spoke with two Lean Six Sigma black belts who are working with 401st personnel on several green belt projects involving the RPAT yard. Dowd was briefed on the RPAT process and 401st AFSB plans to retrograde thousands of pieces of equipment in support of the surge recovery. About the 401st:The 401st Army field Support Brigade provides Soldiers, Sailors, Airman, and Marines, the tools and resources necessary to complete the mission. If they shoot, drive it, fly it, wear it, eat it or communicate with it, the 401st helps provide it. The brigade assists coalition partners with many of their logistical and sustainment needs. The brigade also handles the responsible disposition of equipment in Afghanistan to support evolving missions.
