| 説明 | Prime Minister of New Zealand Rt Hon Helen Clark at he opening of Waikato River Trail at Whakamaru. Sarah did the website for the trust and got us invited to the opening of the latest section of the river trail.. Our PM is a keen walker and jumped at the chance to come do the honours. Once open we all (50 or so guests) went on the walk with her and then did lunch.. Political affiliations aside Ms Clark is a straight talking down to earth local Waikato girl with no airs and graces.... lol last time we met I was washing up dishes and she grabbed a tea towel! Thats one reason this country is known as the "Small Town of New Zealand" |
