| 説明 | Ramsay, CalgaryThis building was constructed as an iron foundry in 1927 by Riverside Iron Works. It consisted of a high central bay allowing clear, unobstructed working areas, as well as the use of overhead rails for crane gantries, with two low "shed style" side wings for machine operations. Riverside was sold to Dominion Bridge in 1929. Other plants were added to the site later, including a steel shop and a plate shop equipped with two one-hundred ton cranes. The interior of this building has now been beautifully refurbished for office space. |
