Constructed in 1891 - closed to automobile traffic in 1988 - it's now a pedestrian bridge used by many Martins Ferry, Ohio and Wheeling, WV residents. The bridge is currently endangered and is facing being sealed off to pedestrians in the near future, and possible demolition. |
