| 説明 | On Friday afternoon 06/01/2012 I collected Lance James from his home in Darlington and we drove over to the Tan Hill Inn (last visited on my Pennine Way Traverse in May 2010). to join with a group of fellow-members of the Backpacker's Club - Northumbria area. In total we had nine tents pitched beside the Inn. We had a good night in the pub but it blew a real hooley all night long on what I think would be the roughest storm I have yet to camp in, fortunately my Laser Comp - the tent closest to camera is Lance's and I'm next - managed to stay the course, but only just, not much sleep and one of the other tents suffered a snapped pole in the fierce winds. |
