That may be because its ancient forebear had the same basic shape and for them to drop it is like Toyota dropping the coupe version of the Celica, or Dodge making the Charger a sedan. Regardless, there's a nice dynamic tension in the C-Pillar here: it looks sufficiently sporting with a nice forward rake, and yet also conservative enough (the thickness is just so) to allow older people to buy one without having to feel like they should wear their hats backward as well. |
