C18, C19,and war memorial planned 1920. By Bridgeman and Son. Ashlar.Classical style. Plinth and Ionic pilasters to entablature andcornice, side panels with swept parapets. 2 tiers of slatename panels; niche with statue of St George and the Dragon,with flanking lion masks holding name panels; side panels withwreaths; shell to pediment. C18 brick walls to rear and leftreturn. Front has C19 balustrade from Moxhull Hall, Wishaw,Warks, 2 urns; left forward return wall and right forwardreturn balustrading. Gate has large brick piers with ashlarcaps supporting heraldic lions with Lichfield arms, enrichedwrought iron gates and overthrow. Revetting to pool has somebalustrading, but much has been removed.
