| 説明 | Fotomicrografía de una granodiorita en sección delgada, vista al microscopio en nícoles cruzados. Cristales de plagioclasa (blanco) sobre 2 cristales de anfíbol (rojo y verde). El rojo corresponde a un corte basal, lo cual se deduce por la presencia de sus 2 clivajes (en otros casos se deduce por su forma hexagonal), mientras que el verde es un corte longitudinal, en el que el clivaje es paralelo al eje mayor del cristal.Microscopic view in cross-polarized light of a granodiorite thin section. Plagioclase crystals (white) on amphibole crystals (red and green). The red one is a cross section, which one can tell because of the 2 sets of cleavage present (in other cases they could have an hexagonal shape), and the green one is a longitudinal section, with its cleavage parallel to the long axis of the crystal. |
