| 説明 | The "Share the Shore" project in partnership with Audubon California made these wonderful signs possible to be posted on the Tijuana Slough NWR coastal dune habitat. The original refuge boundary signs were vandalized and not respected, however these signs drawn by local students and printed by Audubon, did the job, by protecting the nesting area for California Least terns and western snowy plovers. The signs were so well-respected and held up so well, that they were used the following year. The Refuge hopes to do this same activity for the San Diego Bay NWR in the future (R. Baak/USFWS). |
