| 説明 | Ms Muller-l am writing to you to follow up on our previous conversation.You know me as ELLEN W. KO.There are 3 items l wish to discuss.Allow me to refresh your memory as well as my own:When we met at the Palo Alto Courthouse, you had strongly suggestedthat l take an offer from the DA on that day. l had asked that theoffer be turned down and to plea not guilty to the charges. l also letyou know that l had a pending case in San Francisco that was to betried in December of this year (this month,) and that a judge hadordered me to 30 hours with a county-employed psychiatrist for aprevious case. You urged me to contact the attorney handling the SanFrancisco case to ask his opinion on whether l should take the offerfrom Santa Clara County. You then contacted the attorney yourself andrelayed to me that 'he had no problem with me pleading not guilty.' Atthis time, you let me know that my decision was 'not very smart' andthat you will schedule a psychiatric evaluation, and to expect a callfrom a doctor. You had asked for a continuance with the court untilJan 10th.The following 2 items l wish to follow up with you, and an additionalitem of note:1. l have been expecting contact from a physician since our meeting on11/15, which l have not received to this date. Is there some change tothis that l should know about?2. My San Francisco trial began on 12/13, l fell ill and the trial hasto be rescheduled. Since you had requested the continuance from thecourt based on accommodating the San Francisco trial, that the SFtrial will be rescheduled may be of note.3.
