| 説明 | Lots of up and down work today, and this seemed quite a pull up out of the hamlet of Wood Stanley on the way to Stumps Cross. Fortunately there is a bench to rest on just where its needed and a chance to look back down into the vale. Not terribly visible in this picture are the reamains of "strip lynchets" the old farming system of ploughed ridges furrowed along the hillside. Light is failing and soon I'll have to find a place to camp for the night. |
