| 説明 | Dima was supposed to be stopping just for five minutes to pick up barbecue skewers from his grandmother's dacha (country cottage), but when she found out he had left his guests outside in the car, she insisted he invite us in! Never mind Dima's hurry to leave, hospitality is important :). She brought out a steady procession of food from her larder for us to try.We were so pleased by her lovely generosity to visitors.. we learnt before we traveled that this is a part of Ukraine culture, but you still have a wonderful gratitude when your British low expectations of hospitality are exceeded. |
