| 説明 | We decided to take a road trip from Anchorage to Valdez, about a 6 hour drive, in June 2011. We were going to make a long weekend of it, possibly taking a glacier cruise out of Valdez. The drive there was incredible - absolutely gorgeous day. We camped out with great hope for the next two days, only to wake up in a downpour that showed no sign of letting up. We could barely see 20 feet ahead of us so no sense going out on the water; we decided to cut it short - that was an adventure since it was almost whiteout conditions on Thompson Pass - scary; what looked so great the day before, was no where to be seen. Oh well, I guess we'll have to go back again! |
