| 説明 | Just a few hours ago there was a magnitude 6.9 earthquake about 350 kilometers east of Sendai off the coast of Honshu, Japan. One news source reported that there was a 30 centmeter tsunami wave that reached the northern Japan city of Ofunato, Iwate prefecture, but there was no threat to the west coasts of the USA or Canada. I hope all are okay in Japan. This image is a photo of my computer screen. I use Bloglines.com to keep track of several blogs, the Florida Hurricane center (my brother lives in Florida), and the USGS earthquake reporting system. Note also that I use the Firefox internet browser. I find it much better than the Microsoft browser, with some very neat features such as tab browsing. If you have been thinking of giving it a try, I strongly recommend you do so. |
