Groundfloor has remains of horizontal rustication to ends, cornicesurmounted by giant Egypto-Corinthian pilasters through firstand second floors, double frieze, cornice, blocking course,copings. First floor has 6/1 sashes with moulded surrounds andcornices. Second floor has 3/3 sashes with eared and mouldedsurrounds, sills with feet. All windows in plain reveals. Endstack.Similar facade to left return: 2 first-floor windows. Facadeprojects and has similar tall pilasters to ends with a pairbetween windows. Similar fenestration.INTERIOR: remains of egg-and-dart cornice to first floor, butinterior walls removed.HISTORICAL NOTE: the Parade was so-named in 1860. OriginallyLillington Lane, it was renamed Union Row c1809. The lowersection was laid out c1810-1814 and the original buildingswere brick fronted. Built as houses, hotels andlodging-houses, by 1850 many had become shops.Forms an architectural group with Nos 63-79 (odd) RegentStreet (qv).
