| 説明 | Well, this one is at least sharp instead of fuzzy. There is a clear preference for geotags to be about 60 feet from the near corner or about 200 feet from the far corner of the block. Does this mean 260-foot north-south New York intersection spacing is optimal for popularity, or just that New York is a very popular place for geotagging?(Update: the curves look pretty much the same if New York's data is excluded, so it's not just New York.)Geotags from Flickr, Twitter, and Picasa. Street blocks from Census 2010 TIGER "edges" shapefiles. Distances in feet, from the center of the intersection. |
