| 説明 | I was so looking forward to visiting the Quai Branly museum this time around. I had just missed its opening the last time I was in Paris, so there was a lot of eager anticipation. The building and surrounding gardens are quite fascinating, but I found the exhibition design to be too overly elaborate. The floor-to-ceiling glass casework left me disoriented in the dimly lit space and the layout and organization of the museum overwhelms the artifacts on display. I felt lost and somewhat confused in the space, which is not good. I was quickly looking for the exit door. The collection is excellent, but it sadly suffers from an overpowering exhibition environment. A real pity, really. |
