| 説明 | Soldiers and Airmen of the U.S. Army Garrison Benelux, 39th Signal Battalion, 786th Force Support Squadron Det 3 and the USAF 309th Airlift Squadron teamed up with the German Bundeswehr at Camp Elsenborn to participate in a joint field training exercise August 17. Armed with German G-36 Assault rifles and outfitted with Deployable Instrumentation System Europe gear, two joint multinational squads were sent out on a mission to secure a high value target. The scenarios simulated combat operations as realistically as possible by including exploding roadside IEDs, insurgent ambushes and booby-trapped buildings. |
