| 説明 | This is a graph made and posted originally by Eric Fischer (original can be found www.flickr.com/photos/walkingsf/6076719163 here on flickr), showing distance vs. time of location-tagged tweets about the recent #earthquake. X-axis is time in seconds; y-axis is distance in miles. I added (purple line) the arrival of fastest-possible seismic p-waves (about 3.1miles per second). You can see how closely the slopes match, as people react a moment later to the quake. You can also see (darker streaks) where the p-waves have passed populated centers.
