| 説明 | Press L to see this image on black (much better!). My photostream on black or on white.Hi everyone, meet Sushi, my latest rescue pet :) ! Sushi lived for four years with a friend of a colleague of mine. A year ago the friend became a mother, but Sushi started to act as if the baby was hers. Especially when the baby started to cry (very loudly), Sushi attacked anyone who tried to comfort the baby. After almost a year, she hadn't changed her attitude, so, with pain in her heart, the friend of my colleague started to look for someone who could take Sushi in, scared that no-one would want such a fierce cat. Compared to Lijneke however, Sushi is as gentle as a lamb. Although ... if she hears a baby crying on the television set, she immediately starts to search for the baby. Has any of you ever heard of a cat (a Birman) who reacts in such a way to baby's and their care-givers? Any ideas on what's happening in that beautiful little head of hers? If it were jealousy, I'd think she would attack the baby, but instead she attacks the adult.
