As the oldest performing arts theater in the state of Florida the beams were in need of a thorough cleaning, touch-up of stenciled areas and stenciling of areas that have been painted over in solid color through the years.To keep the integrity of the Annie Russell Theatre stencils were fabricated by APR Inc. to match the historic designs. APR Inc. matched and created custom colors to replicate the aged tones of the designs and matched colors prior to glazing for the newly stenciled areas.At evaluation after the initial start of the project it was determined that all areas, needed to be re-hand painted to brighten and freshen up the designs while still maintaining the integrity of the patina. |
