| 説明 | ... the last time I was in New York was VE Day, 1945..was it May? You look it up. Actually VE day itself, I spent on board the anchored SS William Grayson in New York Harbor. VE day caused the city to explode with people celebrating and we were not permited to leave the ship. We went ashore the next day to find people still staggering and passed out on the sidewalks...life was good. A few days later, we signed off the Grayson, I bought a new uniform and shoes and headed to Grand Central Station and a train trip back to Texas. Now I just visit the city every time I watch Mad Men or some other NYC located TV program.Recently I discovered a new NYC drama, Beautiful People. As I recall there are sixteen episodes. I got hung up on the show and watched all sixteen in about three days. I got it from Netflix. The show is outstanding and insightful, but the NY scenes are awesome.
