| 説明 | FIXED COMMENTS ALLOWED NOW!Hey everyone I'm back from my 9 days in the north. I will eventually get caught back up commenting on the posts I missed! I won't do too man tonight because I have not yet turned my brain back to real life mode... (7am tomorrow for work is soon enough).This was where we slept the first friday night after 3am-6am gate duty. Pine needles are soft and it only got down to 65F, so I slept great. Well as great as one can sleep in 3 hrs with percussion cannons going off every 15-60 min....... Don't worry, I am putting together a snippet video for everyone to laugh at with some of the events, (panty race, slow ride, pitcher race, tire pull, etc etc etc...), oh and there was a prominent international biker magazine there doing a story on our group.... you'll have to wait til the story runs to find out, (probably decemberish)......I took sporadic shots throughout the week, possibly broke my 70-300lens but will no more soon (did not take the good camera on the bike before you ask), met some interesting people, rockhounded in both lower and upper peninsula, rode the bike like there was no tomorrow, (the only way to ride!), found a cool new bridge over a river valley, was attacked by thousands of black flies (omg a story in itself for when that pic gets posted eventually), was bitten on the ankle by something fairly poisonous which I won't gore you out with cause whoa.... made it to a fireworks show, went ghost hunting in some old abandoned buildings.... and much much more.... it was an amazing trip all the way, lookin forward to sharing as I post a few shots. |
