| 説明 | I reasoned that, since Pamela had spent so much on her last trip to England, I deserved a little treat as well!I've been looking at Canon extenders for some time. They come in two flavours 1.4x and 2x with the former apparently giving better results. They also come in different versions, the latest being Mk III. As you can see, I went for the much cheaper MkII which is actually a better colour match for my 70-200 lens. The MKIII is a little whiter to match the colour of the newer Canon "white" finish lenses. The MkIII has a microprocessor to make AF faster but to be honest, this one is fast enough. It is also supposed to give slightly better results - a touch less distortion for example. How does it perform?AF is still very fast and at the apertures I would normally use, tack sharp bearing in mind that it slows down the maximum aperture of the native lens by one stop. For those occasions when I need a bit more reach than the 70-200 gives, it will do just fine!Canon 5D Mk II with a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM lens. |
