| 説明 | Earliest occurrence of random number generator -- citizens would carry brass id tags that were the same size as these holes that covered the entirety of a waist high slab of marble. On the side there was a carved funnel for marbles. After tags were inserted randomly into the holes, black and white marbles were poured down the funnel, and the rows that black marbles landed next to would be called for jury duty. |
