| 説明 | Our hackerspace was donated a QuickCircuit 5000 (a CNC PCB engraver) and we're slowly writing package to interface to its AMC2500 CNC controller. We don't have a license for the isolation path generator that comes with it so we had to work out some other way of making it make things. We did receive a demo copy of the CAM software and managed to reverse engineer the ASCII serial protocol. At this stage we can read gcode files generated by pcb2gcode for Eagle and have the engraver draw it out with the super advanced pen-and-gaffa-tape tool head. It'll be a few more hacking sessions before we're doing cutting runs but the current progress is encouraging.github.com/projectgus/amc2500 |
