| 説明 | This is an earlier uploaded pictures of these Saurus Cranes, a very large flying bird that spends its lifetime as a couple. If one dies, the other commits suicide (by refusing to eat). If you have a marsh on your land in the Gangean Plain, you will likely attract a couple who will call it home year after year. But they are super loud and dance around. The dances are for courtship and declare the area off limits to other couples from their species, perhaps even other species. Unlike other cranes, they don't migrate a long distance. I previously thought they were Siberian birds that only winter in India. Their population is 10% what it was 100 years ago, due to loss of habitat. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarus_CraneThe first ever post-processing done to my Nikon Coolpix 8700 pictures from India. The camera is a SLR-ish point and shoot with a sizeable superzoom lens and flip out screen. Many other camera manufactures offer a similar camera that looks the same. They now got them up to 24x of zoom. They are rather difficult to operate. For a similar camera I would consider Lumix or Olympus next time. |
